Downtown Ash Fork



there are lots of closed up buildings and
run-down funky spots... back in ole CA,
these would be called "fixer-uppers" and
sell in the "low" millions.....



we love this portion of historic route 66...
we can feel the spirit of good times here,
as in "get your kicks ... on route 66"



this is one of my favorites, that old de soto
is a beauty, and there is someone actually
behind the wheel up there ... we think it's ELVIS

4 Thousand words about our latest Campground...



peaceful sunsets, the camera didn't quite catch the crescent moon and its companion star - or is it a planet (venus?) i am not sure...

where these two rivers meet, the Stanislaus and the San Joaquin, one of them flows north, the only one in the state to do so...



two tents, two sisters, two dogs, two convertibles, two espresso cups (see the italian espresso maker on the table?)
